I attended Chung-Ang University in Seoul, South Korea, from August to December 2024, as part of an exchange program.
During this period, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the Korean academic culture and deepen my understanding of the relationship between the European Union and Southeast Asian countries, with a particular focus on South Korea. I took courses centred on International Relations and Korean language, which allowed me to broaden my perspective on global issues.
I participated in seminars and meetings with local and international experts on current topics, such as economic dynamics between Asia and Europe and the challenges of international relations in a complex geopolitical context.
Additionally, I had the chance to work on preliminary research for my master’s thesis, which analyzes the relationship between EU institutions and Southeast Asian countries. This enabled me to develop academic research skills and strengthen my ability to work in an intercultural context.
Thanks to the knowledge acquired during my university studies in Italy, I was able to compare different academic and cultural approaches, enhancing my critical thinking and communication skills.
This experience allowed me to enrich both my academic and personal development, preparing me for future challenges in the field of international relations and interregional cooperation.
